Charity & Fundraising

Charity and fundraising events supported by Acorns staff, service users and families.

The TB100 is the annual charity cycling event organised by the specialist healthcare executive search firm Compass Carter Osborne (CCO) in support of the charity Spread A Smile. Spread a Smile is an incredible charity who bring joy and laughter to seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families during long hospital stays and at home.

Our CEO Cass Palmer has participated within the event for the last 3 years as a (terrible!) cyclist, and also the team’s very own yoga instructor to warm everyone up, prior to the bike ride!

In 2025 Cass managed to persuade Hayden Foster, Acorns Business Development Director & Registered Manager, to participate in cycling 100km! He is still not speaking to her..
